(1)Bacteria suspension doesn’t meet requirements of national standard.
(2)The flow rate of peristaltic pump is not optimal, try to increase or decrease flow rate.
(3)Check the size of petri dishes (Especially glass dishes).
(1)The pipeline is leaking, check whether the silicone connecting pipe on the glass is leaking.
(2)The environment is not aseptic when preparing the culture medium.
(3)The work environment is harsh or the HEPA filter fails.
(4)Check the size of petri dishes (Especially glass dishes).
(1)After pressing power button, the red power light doesn’t work, lamp and UV light also don’t work, check whether the power line is connected and there is power supply, and check whether the leakage protection switch at the back of the instrument is turned on.
(2)The power indicating light is on, lamp and UV light also work but screen is black and the machine can’t boot up, disconnect to power supply, boot up again and stab the reset button on the front panel.
(1) Check whether the flow rate of A and B is consistent.
(2)Check whether the pipeline is leaking, and check whether the size of the petri dish is suitable (especially the glass petri dish, if the petri dish is too high, it will jack up the upper layer, which will cause the Anderson sampler to leak).
(3)Check whether the apertures of each Anderson sampler is blocked (simple test method, visual observation, if blocked, clean it before testing).
It is recommended to use a standard sample (such as a sample tested by authoritative organizations) or a regular standard filter with aerosol filtration efficiency test curve for comparison. If deviation is suspected, it is recommended to go to a qualified measurement agency for calibration. The instrument needs maintenance after a period of running, just like car maintenance. The scope of maintenance is to clean all internal and external pipelines, replace filter elements, filters, and clean the aerosol generator, etc.
First, check whether the sampling flow reached to setting value(such as 85 L/min), the machine will not start sampling before the flow reaches to setting value(neither too high nor too low). Most of them can be solved after replacing the filter cotton of the fan module. Check whether the pipeline is blocked, and the exhaust valve of the mixing chamber should be normally open.
If the upstream and downstream flow does not reach 1.0 L/min, the HEPA filter of the photometer module needs to be replaced. It is usually judged by checking the pressure value to determine whether it needs to be replaced and maintained (pressure range: sampling pressure >5KPa, upstream and downstream pressure >8Kpa).
Mostly likely it is because the instrument needs cleaning and maintenance. This problem can be solved by cleaning the nozzle of the aerosol generator, pipeline, mixing chamber, fan, and photometer module.
Then check whether the salt solution is suitable, whether the exhaust valve in the rear end of glass bottle on salt aerosol generator is closed. And check whether all pressures are normal (Salt is 0.24 MPa, oil is 0.05-0.5 MPa).
The standard does not specify the test duration. It will be done after the instrument flow is stable (within about 15 seconds). It is recommended that the measurement duration be longer than 15 seconds.
For comparison, it is recommended to use standard samples (such as samples tested by authoritative organization). When performing comparison, the same sample should be tested at the same location and the samples should be pretreated in the same way. If you suspect that there are errors in the instrument, it is recommended to go to a qualified measurement agency for calibration.
